What is art journalling?
An art journal is just like a diary but instead of writing everything down we create images of our day to express our feelings. Later we can come back to it and analyse the colours and shapes we have used and compare good and bad days.
Creating an art journal has been a huge help to me on my recovery. I enjoy spending time creating images adding everything from my imagination.
You really dont have to be able to draw to create your own art journal. The experience is about expression. Take a look at my videos for some inspiration. You can use pencil, paint or any textures you like. Mix it up, draw what you feel.
